Boom's first soccer season!
Crotch in hand, Boom's close friend Theo takes the pitch by storm, by his side.
Maia, not intimidated by the boys on our team, not one iota
Go Black Bombers! My friend and neighbor, Dan, coached with me. He's Theo's dad.
Boom was unstoppable with the soccer ball
A scoring machine
Bombers, caught at a moment in time, small yet uninhibited with enthusiasm on the soccer pitch

Go Thorns!
Our traditional way to end Alice's Green Thorns' games. Dan and I coached together for Alice and Amelia's team too, along with coach Mike, Sophia's Dad.
Grif positioning himself for the ball, on his team. I didn't coach Grif, for the first time in 5 years, and I regretted not being an intimate part of his passion -- soccer.
And, the trophies they live for
Trophy day!
Alice's blog: I worked hard at soccer. Each time I play, I get better and better. I start passing more and feel more comfortable with playing. I am almost faster than anyone else on my team. Each time I score, I think about what it would be like if I didn't play soccer. When the last game ended, I was a little happy to have a rest. I had lots of fun playing soccer!
